Time for another spot prize!!!

Told you girls to keep yer eyes open!! Okay now this time a nice curly question!! This post will be deactivated at 9.30 am in the morning!!

Question is:

Is it easier to raise boys or girls? Why is it so?
For those that don't have children.
Tell me what annoys you most about your friends kids? Why is it so?

Now I have both, the boys are married and have families of their own and my girls are still little but overall I must say that its easier to raise girls-in some areas-but easier to raise boys in others!!! Okay so I'm divided!!

Mmmmm let me see?????
I think girls are easier when they are little people but then the hormones jump in and wow its all systems go.
Boys on the other hand are very adventurous little people into everything, but as the get older and mature they become more self aware.
Soooo... I think each child is different and both sexes have their moments.

I think my girl has been easier than my boys as she actually does what she's told the first time doesn't seem to be as much nagging and the boys generally leave things were they are so always picking up after them.... but my niece she definately gives you a run for your money,(did look after her for her first 5 yrs) so really depends on the child..

My oldest son gave us the most grief when he was in high school but my baby is getting married a week from today and I couldn't be prouder of him. My other children, 2 boys and a girl have been fairly easy compared to him so I guess I don't have an easier to raise answer. I think it has more to do with personality and how you respond to it as a parent.

At the moment I only have a daughter, so can't comment on what its like to raise boys. (And I've only really started with this one, she's 16 months.) I did spend over 8 years working with children though, and think that girls are definitely easier to handle when they're little, but if my teenage years are anything to go by, I think I'd rather have boys at that stage! ;-)

I can't really answer this one for you either. I have a 3yr old daughter who has a real ATTITUDE at the moment that i will difinately have to beat (lol) out of her before she gets too much older, and i have a 9mth old son. However, i was 1 of 4 girls growing up, and although there were good points to it, there was also a whole lot of attitude and fights!! :) Not sure if i have helped, but i think that girls and boys are probably much muchness when they are little, but during the teenage years, i think i would prefer boys, cos i know how bad girls can be!! :)

I do not have kids but have taught middle school students for 10 years...and helped raise a few girls in previous relationships...wait did I say HELP, I meant RAISE!!!!LOL
Age 10-16 girls are easier in the classroom but not at home and I think Boys are harder in the classroom but easier at home...Boys take a while to figure things out...

As I have 1 of each I have to say each comes with their own set of idiosyncracies, strengths and weaknesses. They are each gorgeous in their own way in in their own times. Love them both deeply. Rosemary.
