I have a good joke for you ...

A priest is walking down the street one day when he notices a little boy trying to press a doorbell on a house across the road. Unfortunately the child is very small and the doorbell is too high for him to reach.

After watching the boy's efforts for some time, the priest finally takes pity on his struggles and heads across the street, walks up behind the little fellow and, placing his hand kindly on the child's shoulder leans over and gives the doorbell a sold ring.
Crouching down to the child's level, the priest smiles benevolently and asks, "And now what, my child?".

To which the little boy replies, "Now we run!"

No funny little ditties from me today, I'm just one very happy little vegimite - I have a great job, love the rain, love the people around me, the world is a beautiful place and I am very thankful for all that I have been given - including my online blogging friends have a wonderful day everyone, especially my dear friend Kathie :)xxx
Now smile and spread the joy

LMAO Jane!!!

Well this is what's making me smile atm. It's Ethans 2nd birthday on saturday. We made the mistake of taking him with us when we went shopping for his birthday present the other week. So he knows that he's getting a car gargae (just not what else is going with it - car mate etc). He also knows that it's stashed under my bench in my scrap room, cheeky monkey.
Anyhoo, we are trying to get him used to the whole birthday idea so keep mentioning it. Now when you say who's having a birthday in x days? The first thing he says is Truck! He just wants his present like now!
Hope that made you wmile Possum, it does us. xoxo

Glad I made you laugh Kathie, Brielle makes me laugh every day...like yesterday afternoon when I brought in the mail. B usually plays with the empty envelopes after I open them. I went into the other room and she came in a few minutes later with one on her head. She said "yook mum, I'm wearing birthday party hat"...LOL (And yes, I took photos!) XXX

Today in an RE class at school they were talking about Cyrus, the teacher asked one of the students about what Cyrus did... She answered Clitoris was the person that helped with humanity... the students and the teacher burst in to laughter and the poor student didn't realise what she said.. When the teacher told us at recess we were all in fits laughing...Kids often say the darnedest things..

We had my daughters communion last sunday and after she and her immediate family went to receive communion, we came back to our pew and knelt. It was then everyone else's turn to go to communion. I poked my best friend in the ribs and said "off you go!" She whispered 'NO!' but then relented and said she would go up for my daughter's sake. It has been a very very long time since she has taken communion - maybe 20 years. Her family and my sister were sitting further back in the church and when my friend stood to go into the aisle, her family nearly choked! They whisper yelled at my sister to take a photo of this monumental event. My sister jumped up in such a flurry that she tripped on some stones surrounding the baptismal font and just managed to stop herself from falling in!!!! Many people were trying to contain their giggles ... I get a great big silly grin on my face when I think of it all!
