Trying day.....

Well today started like any other.....up early to get the girls off to school...mission accomplished...come home pack the gear for the Monday morning scrap class at the Bridge in Seymour, in the middle of typing up instructions the phone rings.....that is when my world went a little black....

Years ago I was a single mum with three young boys and there were two ladies that helped me through some pretty horrendous times.....I could write an essay here, but won't....one of my friends was called Karen.....well today I went to her funeral....I didn't even know that she was sick....shocked me totally when I got the phone call....you know life is just to short and for me its pretty hard keeping up with all my friends past and present at times, doesn't mean that I have forgotten about you at all or that I don't love you guys any less.....

A little about my friend Karen: she could make you laugh no matter how bad things were, she was always the glass is half full type of girl.....she was passionate about her football club~Richmond Tigers~in fact its what cemented our relationship....she would help you out no matter what was going on in her life and she helped so many people its amazing.....so today is a day that has made me so sad.....My heart goes out to Clive, Leah and Rikki and the extended family....Karen Rest in peace....your love and kindness will be remembered for a long time to come.....as was testament to you with so many people at your funeral...standing 6 deep outside the church in places....you will always be thought of fondly....
