The end of a yukky job!!

What a job that was!! The culprit was the tree coupled with lots of hair AND are you ready for this......cotton buds...yep thanks so much to the person who put their used cotton buds down the sink instead of into a bin.....my question to them is: WHY??? The photos show our now view without the lillypilly tree(you can compare with the photos in the other post) there now AND the disgusting great long mass that Pete pulled out of the drain......enough to make you hurl!!! So enjoy the photos and let us know your nightmare of a plumbing story............

Ewwww...that is gross!! At least it is all cleared now and most likely you will never have a blocked drain again. No major plumbing problems to tell you here. We have had the bathroom drain blocked once and my hubby pulled some small bath toys out but that is about it. Definitely nothing as big as what you guys have had to deal with these last couple of days. Have a wonderful day Kathie.xxx

Our drain blocked up not long after moving in here (prob a couple of months. The smell was foul - we had raw sewage pouring out at the back of the house. We had to get the plumber in and they took out rags (material), hair, paper.... you name it! Who puts rags in a drain.... honestly!

Uggh - my last plumbing story was pretty S%$#y -literally. Similar to Sarah's story - but even worse - it ended up all over our ensuite too when hubby tried to fix it (not his fault)!!!!! It was DISGUSTING. Thank God that some really great plumber ended up coming to our rescue (we had called heaps before one agreed to come and look as it was quite late Firday night.) Turns out the problem wasn't ours...so he was paid very well....but not by us.
