We had a great day at the beach yesterday with Vicki and her family. It was only the second time since April last year we've been to the beach - after living with it a maximum 5 mins away all my life it's been one thing I really really miss.. I love the sound of the ocean ...

Anyhoos, today I'm paying for it - red as a lobster and headachy again (hormones apparently) so a nice day in is planned - hopefully scrapping because I've not done much the last 2 weeks since I've been sick... I've got itchy fingers!!!

I have loved this weekend as i have spent it relaxing as for the past week I have been working in our shearing shed and I have also cooked for shearers and my family of 7 so the rest has been wonderful.. I have even pottered around my scrapping table..I suppose i better go and do some more cooking for the shearers goodbye weekend...

Yesterday I cleaned house. There were just lots of those little things that were annoying me. Took a few hours but the place looks sooo much better now.
Spent the arvo scrapping some challenges.
Had bangers and mash for dinner.
then some more scrapping and hooking.
This morning I decided to go buy a nice roast (bought a couple of bolars) and roast up for dinner. Might even make an apple crisp and custard for dessert too.
grabbed some snadwich supplies and dropped in at mums.
there was a gargage sale over the road nad mum boght the kids some thing. A couple of large wooden puzzles to take home, a stroller (we have a big double pram so a small one is great) and then some things to keep at her place.
Home now, kids are asleep and I'm going to go sit and hook up the last of my orders.

I like the sound of that dessert Becci!

I haven't done much with my week really. Moving back home tomorrow and been working all weekend.

Finished off a GYSO sketch challenge which you can see on my blog, but haven't had a chance to do one for here as all my stuff is packed away :( And I've got uni all day tomorrow so doubt I will get it done.

That's about it though! Trying to make the most of the nice weather while it lasts!

i have had a quiet sunday.. off to church, then lunch and then i had a nap.. i am still not sleeping so well at night after the floods, but each day brings a little more healing.. so good to see many people helping out with those who have had damage and first day without a helicopter going over slowly..i pray time will bring healing to our neighbourhood and i hope people can smile again..
i love the sketch, but haven't sat and started it yet.. hope to though.. xx

Today has been full on rearraging the house/rooms around. After soo long without my desk I finally have my won little corner in our bedroom JUSt for my scrapping. Its kinda awesome lol :D Of course I havent had time amongst getting Miss 5 things organised for school tomorrow to actually sort out the big mountain of my craft stuff I had to move but thats a job for tomorrow. I can't wait to sit down and SCRAP in my OWN space haha... Hows your day been Kathie ?

Pretty awesome thanks Kristal....had to stay home from church as I wasn't very well...ate the wrong thing me thinks....but did the washing...cleaned and then had a friend and her mum over for tea..we had roast beef...they were totally blown away...hopefully we will see more of them over the next few weeks. Gotta really love family time on a Sunday....its the best :D so happy that youngest son has moved home....had a few problems and we nearly have them all sorted now...Praise God!! Was a trying time for us as a family..it hurts when relationships break down....there is nothing you can do either when it happens...just sit and offer an ear, a shoulder and a place to stay! Some good has come out of it though...
Now I'm in for an awesome week!!! Thanks for dropping by love to hear from you all...
