I don't have any internet nightmares....but I had a real nightmare last week....Rob woke me up to find out why I was crying in the middle of the night....I had dreamt he got a pair of scissors and cut my hair off!!!!!!!!! It was horrible...I sobbed for ages before I got back to sleep and all he could do was laugh at me!!!!!!!!!

I lost photo's of my daughter and her working at and her entry in the International Flower show in Melb. I scrapped all our entry tickets etc and drew a picture of her flower display. There was other photo's I wanted but our computer crashed and couldn't be retreived.

My nightmare is our internet speed!
It is aweful, more often than not it is below dialup which sucks completely.
If I want to blog I have to do it before 9am or it's just to slow to uplaod pics etc.
Well it's either that or wait until midnight which I am NOT doing!

I really only have one. I had just downloaded 170 photos of my boys. I had deleted them off the camera thinking it was all fine and then suddenly poof the computer chucks a spazz. I couldn't even turn the thing on. All I was worried about was the photos as I had takent hem off the camera and I hadn't saved themt o disc yet and there is no way you can replace photos of growing children.
Thankfully to a great friend he fixed the computer. It turned out to be someting really simple $30 later, a carton of beer and I had the computer back and the photos were all there........ THANK GOD.........

I was just about to print off my 3,000 word assignement for a nursing course and the pc packed it in. The backup file was corrupt, I had an argument with the tutor and withdrew from the course.... Lesson - have more than one back up for important files. :) xx

We had been with the one ISP for years and been happy with their service but we couldnt get ADSL2+ with them so made the decision to change to BigPond (coz we were taking up a deal to get the internet, T-Hub, T-box etc). We were told it would be a straight transfer from one ISP to the other- but we were offline for nearly 10 days!!!!
The only thing that kept me sane was the internet on my tiny little phone screen!

yes well we had a similar story with big-pond...they forgot to order send the order down the line....we were off line for quite awhile as well....unfortunately for them we have had enough...big-pond is really slow so we are heading back to dodo...so over it...even at full speed big pond is really slow :( not happy, has been an experience I won't repeat.....EVER....

I told you our sad story of having to increase our download limit because our teenage DD would regularly go over the monthly allowance last week.

I do have a funny internet story - my DS got a laptop for his last birthday (instead of getting a desk top for his room) - he thinks this is pretty alright, he can sit up in bed with it, lay on the lounge with it, take it in the car to watch DVD's ...... he can even use it to message his Mum in the study while sitting in his room some 3m away!!!!

Mine isn't an Internet disaster, it's more of a computer disaster. When DS Jay first started walking he'd go into the study and bash about on the keyboard. We had an archway that we could only block with furniture but he would still get through. $550 for a bifold door across the archway and $300 and a new hard drive later, we banned him from the study lol. He's 4 on wednesday so is a little better around computers lol.
