The one that tugs at my heart the most are the flowers from my girls - best ones are the ones with the roots still attached to them still and of course of the'weed' variety, followed by 'I love you mummy'

Merry Christmas and happy holidays everyone

The best gifts to receive (and this happens to me every year) are the ones that my daughters buy for me - I absolutely have no idea what they are and are a true surprise! I have had chocolates, books, scrapbooking supplies, and even GUCCI perfume! (from my now working daughter. I love the anticipation of an unknown present!!

My favourite gift wasn't a Christmas gift but simply a gift from friends. I had a big health scare last year and had to have a series of scary tests done. My online friends knew just how scared I was and bombarded me with cards, candles adn even a little teddy. Most of these arrived as I was walking out the door for the tests - I held that little teddy so tight I tell you! And to this day I still carry the little inspiration cards in my purse. I am truly blessed to know the most wonderful women!

Hi Kathie,
Last year a very good friend of mine gave me a gorgeous glass ornament to hang on the tree each year in memory of my dad. It is an always treasured possession and hangs in the kitchen when not on the tree.
Best wishes everyone!!!

P.S. The bag signed by Heidi Swapp was pretty special too.

Don't know about the best but I can tell you about the worst. My sister-in-law like scarves and worked in an airline freight business and had long hair the last time I had seen her before this particular christmas so I got her a lovely scarf to go with her uniform and some scented raw liners. Not much I know but was on a tight budget that year. Anyway, thanks were received and the very following xmas I got the scarf and draw liners back. Rewrapped but the same gift none the less. Needless to say, we don't do gifts anymore. Ha. LOL. Rosemary. I think the best is yet to come for me. 2 more sleeps to go. All the very best for christmas and the new year everyone. Look foward to learning more about you all in 2009.

It's corny to say but at this time of year it is important to smell the roses and take stock of all of life's gifts. For me the best gifts are wonderful family, friends and perfect health. Chocolate never goes astray though!
Merry Christmas all. Oh and by the way, I am having another baby!!!!! Due 19th June.
Luv Kate
