I honestly don't think there is much you can do. Just be there for them, offer advice when it's need or asked for, and let them ride those waves and learn for themselves and be there when they fall. They will respect you more for that tan trying to tell them when they aren't listening {{{hugs}}}

Your probably right becci. Would just like to shake one at the moment but that isn't going to solve anything. Hoping that any adult who is going through this will wake up with a smile tomorrow and be able to acknowkedge that they tried to help.
Hello, just read your post as well!!! I honestly think there is not much you can do but sit back and let them make their own decisions, make their own mistakes and learn from their own experiences... Have had so much time to think the last week... and not having too much outside interference has put everything in persepective! Everything will work out for the best... It just takes time! Love to you all Sharynne
it really depends on the age they are.. little children definitely need guidance and a "helping hand" but when they have left school and are in the 16 - 25 year age.. it is really hard to do anything except pray!! and be there when they want you.. try and keep the communication lines open too.. it is not easy.. and every child is different..xx

Just read your post.
There are quite a few children where I work who could do with a good shaking but it's not allowed! Think it would do them the world of good.
